Celebrating 25 Years of tour excellence

The capital of Australia’s Northern Territory, situated on the Timor Sea and a former frontier outpost. It is known as the gateway to Kakadu National Park and famous for its wildlife nestled in and out of the city.

Northern Territory’s capital city, Darwin is more than just a small coastal town. It is not only the gateway to Kakadu National Park but also Southeast Asia. Thanks to its geographical position Darwin is a highly multicultural city and offers a diverse gourmet offering which makes it a modern dining delight. Some of the local highlights include Mindil beach, the waterfront precinct, and the botanic gardens. However, the city remains renowned for its access to Kakadu National Park but also its role in World War II.

In February 1942 Darwin was bombed after the largest single attack ever mounted by a foreign power in Australia. Marking a significant event not only in the city but for the whole country, much like other world cities that have suffered from similar attacks there is a military museum allowing visitors to learn more about the fateful events of that day.

Only 250kms away Kakadu National Park is found. The National Park is made up of Wetlands, rivers and sandstone escarpments making it a diverse ecosystem and beautiful landscape. It also preserves Aboriginal rock paintings which in some instances date back to prehistoric times.

290kms from Darwin is a network of 13 sandstone gorges carved away over time by the Katherine River. The incredible Katherine Gorge is surrounded by sandstone and tropical bushland. The sheer size and beauty when cruising through the Gorge will take your breath away.
