Where do you, our customers, want to travel most in 2018?
As the sun sets on 2017 and we roll wide-eyed into 2018 we are excited and buzzing with anticipation as we watch our customer’s dreams come true. As we gear up for a busy year ahead full of travel including new destinations and unique experiences, we are thrilled to learn what’s on your 2018 dream travel wish list.
Drum roll…The number one destination on the travel wish list goes to, Japan!
Our recent survey has revealed Japan as the number one destination of choice for 2018. A total of 33% of all people surveyed chose Japan as their dream destination for this year. With such a unique landscape from energetic cities to wondrous mountains to grand temples and shrines, there is a high demand for this beautiful country and all of the traditional and modern elements it has to offer.
In particular, the survey revealed travellers dreamed of seeing the famous cherry blossoms. As the sea of soft pink petals sweep over the landscape and radiate beauty and romance, there is truly no other place in the world and it’s clear to see why this is so sought after.
The next most dreamed about the destination, as discovered by our survey, is Southeast Asia with 30% of those surveyed putting this at the top of their bucket list.
In particular, many revealed Vietnam was their dream destination for 2018. The top two bucket list items were cruising the palm-lined canals, getting the glimpse of daily life on the Mekong Delta or cruising Halong Bay set in tranquil emerald green waters in amongst the karst peaks.
Of course, who could forget China?
Still a highly popular dream destination with 21% voting this as their ideal holiday destination this year. China is a destination that will not disappoint. It’s rich culture, incredible sights and fabulous food engage all of your attention and enlighten you to a whole new world. Stunning attractions such as the Great Wall of China and the Terracotta Warriors were voted as must-see bucket-list experiences.
India rounds out the top four with 14% dreaming to visit this inspiring country.
Full of colour, chaos and stunning scenery this charming place will engulf you in magic! Explore the romance, positivity and overall buzz of the country. Jaipur – the pink city and Ranthambore National Park were the must-see picks for this buzzing country.
