    Arrive to Rio de Janeiro
    Days 1: Arrive to Rio de Janeiro

    Arrive to the city of Rio in southern Brazil. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel where you’ll have the rest of the day to rest, relax and begin your explorations.

    Day 2: Discover Rio

    Tour Rio’s most iconic landmarks. Drive along Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon to the Corcovado where you’ll board the train that takes you up through the tropical forest to the foot of Christ the Redeemer. Enjoy stunning views of the city below before heading back down to enjoy a delicious lunch before you soar upwards once again, this time in the glass cable cars that whisk you up to the summit of Sugar Loaf Mountain to view the city from a different angle.

    Day 3: Fly to the Amazon

    Fly to Manaus, a city in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest. Take a shared transfer to your lodge where a welcome drink and a presentation will be waiting. Your time here is to spend as you wish, joining the tours and experiences offered by the lodge to explore this magnificent rainforest.

    Enjoy time at leisure. Nature hikes, visiting locals by boat, a fishing tour, a night tour by canoe or a visit to the Monkey Forest rehabilitation centre are just some of the options you have to make the most of your time in the Amazon.

    Day 5: Amazon adventure

    Enjoy another day at leisure. We recommend the full day ‘Meeting of the Waters’ tour where you’ll sail down the Rio Negro to view the Amazonas Theatre, the Port of Manaus and local stilt houses, before arriving at the point where the black waters of the Rio Negro merge with the sandy-coloured waters of the Rio Solimões (the upper reaches of the Amazon River).

    Day 6: Travel to Campo Grande

    Hop on a flight to Campo Grande Airport, the gateway to the Pantanal. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel for overnight.

    Days 7: Into the Pantanal

    After breakfast transfer to your lodge in Pantanal. The world’s largest wetlands, the Pantanal is an unmissable destination for lovers of bird and animal life. Fill the next two days with adventures like guided boat tours to spot jaguars, caimans and capybaras, nature walks to learn about the rich ecosystems and the hidden creatures within them, and night safaris to discover the region’s nocturnal species.

    Day 8: Adventure into the Pantanal

    Today is yours to discover the gems the Pantanal has to offer at your own pace. It is believed that the Pantanal has the largest concentration of crocodiles in the world, with approximately 10 million caimans calling it home.

    Travel to Iguaçu B
    Day 9: Travel to Iguaçu

    After breakfast, transfer back to Campo Grande airport and fly to Foz do Iguaçu, a town right on the border with Argentina. Here you will visit one of the wonders of the natural world – Iguaçu Falls.

    Over to Iguazú B
    Day 10: Over to Iguazú

    Cross the border into Argentina to view the falls from a different perspective. Ride the ecological train to view the ‘Garganta del Diablo’, the largest cascade, and step out onto the suspended platform that lets you stand right on its edge and look down on the rushing water below. Then, walk among the lush nature, full of orchids, colourful birds and other wildlife to reach the highest point of the falls, where the view of the ‘cataratas’ is unsurpassed.

    Day 11: Iguacu to São Paulo

    After breakfast explore the Iguacu National Park in Brazil, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, that surrounds the waterfall. Walk the canyon trail that will give mesmerising views of over 240 cascades and ride a glass elevator up to a viewing platform. The soothing roar of rushing water will provide a soundtrack throughout. After the tour, board a plane to São Paulo, a vibrant, fast-paced metropolis known for its dynamic energy and sprawling urban landscape. The city thrives with high-rise buildings, traffic packed streets, and world-class restaurants. São Paulo is also a hotspot for arts, fashion, and music.

    Day 12: Explore São Paulo

    Today begins with a visit to the São Paulo Museum of Art (MASP), where you can admire a collection featuring both modern and classic works. Then, stroll down the Avenida Paulista to see some of the city’s grand architecture and soak up the lively atmosphere. Stop by the bustling municipal market to sample a variety of delicious local foods, including a mouthwatering mortadella sandwich. Spend the afternoon in Ibirapuero Park, overlooking cultural institutions like the Bienal Pavilion and Museum of Contemporary Art.
