Fabulous holiday. The content was varied & interesting - one minute in the heart of a big city, the next up in the mountains amid the tea plantations - not forgetting the serenity of a night on a houseboat in the backwaters.
Everything was planned really well & we had an excellent & organised guide. Wendy Wu may look a bit more expensive than others at first but when you see what is inclued for the price (all meals, transfers, excursions & even visas) it becomes very good value indeed. On this trip, you barely needed any spending money!

I would definitely recommend both this trip & the tour operator

An excellent taster of the culture, sights, food and people.
The bus was very well driven by Anand, especially around the narrow mountain passes. Our guide Ramesh, was also very personable.
The accommodation was very good, especially The Residency Hotels. Just a couple of pointers: Worth maybe spending 2 days in places like Mysore, as the first week was hectic being on the move every day. The itinery needs to make us aware that there is no alcohol served in Munnar or Thekkady, as most of the group liked to relax in the evenings with a drink. Also we were not made aware of an overnight bag for the houseboat trip. The tour was very special with a lovely group and I would highly recommend it.

very full on , have to be fit , saw everything, hotels excellent, the guides were helpful and knowledgeable, would have liked less curries, rice etc. some hotels catered better than others . i felt i had my moneys worth , a wonderful package .

I have always received excellent service from Wendy Wu's. Their staff are polite & friendly & very helpful when you are booking a tour or customising it to meets you needs.
I have been on three tours with them & have recently booked a fourth. Each has been a wonderful experience, with excellent tour guides. The tours ensure you see as many places of interest as possible during your visit & are extremely enjoyable & informative. The tour guides provide an excellent service & ensure all needs are catered for. I thoroughly recommend this travel company.
