Travel on the famous Toy Train in the Himalayan foothills, and discover Shimla, the summer capital of the British Raj and the 'Queen of Hill Stations', to explore its spectacular views and colonial gems.
Rise early this morning and transfer to New Delhi railway station to board the Shatabdi Express train to Chandigarh. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Shimla for a two-night stay. Nicknamed the 'Queen of Hill Stations', Shimla sits in a stunning location sprawling across a ridge deep in the Himalayan foothills.
Start the day exploring Jakhoo Temple, which sits at the highest point of the city, offering incredible views. Later transfer to the railway station to board the famous Toy Train. Travel on the narrow-gauge mountain railway to Kandaghat. After lunch discover some of Shimla’s most important sights including Christ Church and Scandal Point. Finally, pay a visit to the Himalayan Aviary, home to the Himalayan Monal amongst many other species of birds.
This morning, admire the renaissance grandeur of the Vice Regal Lodge located on Observatory Hill, before driving back to Kalka. Take the train to Delhi enjoying dinner on board. On arrival this evening, transfer to your hotel.

If a share partner is found, the Single Supplement will be removed from your booking. If a share partner is not found, the Single Supplement will remain and is payable with your final balance.
If you are booking on a Dedicated Solo departure, a single room is already included in the price and there are no additional single supplements to pay.
