The holiday certainly covered many scenic sites in
South Korea and was very busy, we had an excellent guide who worked very hard to ensure we got the most out of the holiday. It helped having all the meals provided which meant no hunting for lunch etc options. Some days were very hectic interspersed with half days travelling to meet our next destination. I have no complaints at all but please be aware ware this is a full on holiday which I enjoyed immensely. Looking back I would like to have had time for a hanbok experience, but we had time pressures to get to the next site. The guide gave us a comprehensive and knowledgeable history of South Korea, both past and more recent, she was exemplary and hard working.

It was nice to actually speak to a human being rather than messages and emails ,and so much more easer speaking to someone in English and a nave in England , they were polite and really helpful and helped out with any quiry or questions you had . I would defiantly use them again and recommend them . Thank you

Excellent from start to finish. Thoroughly well planned from centrally situated hotels to a packed itinerary full of interest. Our guide Ms. Michelle Kim was truly an experienced professional, safely and smoothly leading our group of disparate ages, personalities and nationalities.

Excellent holiday with very experienced and helpful tour manager. Small friendly group, good hotels, meals except for breakfast local Korean restaurants with lots of explanations as to what and how to eat. Never used chop sticks before but quite good at end of holiday but always with the option of forks etc. Would highly recommend

A comprehensive overview of S Korea packed into less than 2 weeks. Excellent logistics and many enjoyable and informative things included.

Alexia was very helpful and knowledgeable. I liked the fact I was informed every step of my booking to the last minute when my ticket and itinerary arrived. Everything about this holiday was great, The scenery was breathtaking. The food was excellent. There was something different to visit and marvel. The Tour Guide was friendly and easy to get on with. I will definitely book with Wendy Tours again. I fell in love with South Korea and I can’t wait to return.

A visit to S. Korea with Wendy Wu was a great shorthand to know a little more and to highlight where to come back to. It’s a fascinating place with an incredible history. The tour was well organised with a joyful guide who made the trip a stress free pleasure. No one can really see a country in two weeks but a trip touching on so many sides of the place was a great way to get a feel of it and feel confident enough to go again independently. I would go again after this trip and also I’d use Wendy Wu Tours again to see other countries to get a feel for if I’d return.

The person who helped me book my tour was friendly and informative. This tour will be my second with Wendy Wu and I am looking forward to touring with them again.

Julia could not have been more patient or helpful. She listened carefully to all my queries and I never felt hurried or pushed into making a decision I had not had time to consider carefully. It was a real pleasure to be able to discuss our potential trip with her and not surprisingly next morning I clinched the booking.
The overall cost , including some extras was within budget.
Now I can’t wait to go!!

A couple of the hotels were a little disappointing, the Ecograd was dirty , poor beds and we were given room slippers that had been used before, the Kensington Stars was not a 5 star as it was a little tired, other than that I notified Wendy Wu about having an allergy to Chilli and also the tour guide when we arrived, but ended up hardly eating anything as she did'nt seem to be able to grasp my meaning , even though she found separate restaurants for someone who was vegetarian, good thing came of it though, I did'nt put any weight on! Other than that no complaints.
Lovely country, clean ,nice scenery and lovely people.

Great tours with Wendy Wu. Our guides Sam (Japan) and Mimi (South Korea) were outstanding. We would definitely recommend these tours.
One thing we were disappointed with was the number of meals that catered to western tastes rather than showing us local cuisine.

The tour itself was excellent but the hotels and the majority of the food was of the fast take away variety. For the price ,especially as food in S Korea is quite cheap, I expected , better quality meals.
I have recently returned from a Scenic New Zealand trip where both the food and accommodation was of a much higher standard
The Taiwan extension was good with an excellent hotel in SunMoon Lake
We used Wendy Wu for this holiday as there are few U.K. holiday companies who arrange tours to Korea/Taiwan . . Not sure if I'd travel with Wendy Wu if other tour operators such as Scenic covered the area
The guides in both Korea & Taiwan were excellent and relevant information and new when to keep quiet
