Utterly Superb. I've wanted to visit India for many years - was planning on 2020 but we all know what happened then! - so finally got around to booking. I expected India to be a complete assault on the senses and it delivered in spades. Colourful, noisy, fast moving, in your face and unlike any country I've ever visited. It was a little bit crazy in the best possible way - I loved the sights, sounds, colours, the smells (OK not so much those of Indian Train toilets LOL). I don't think I'll ever quite get used to cows ambling along wherever they please ... including the middle of the road but thats just part of the local colour.

This was my second Wendy Wu Tour - I came back as the first was superb in every way and this one delivered again. Thats twice now that WW has knocked it out of the park. Ive just booked another tour for 2025 to Japan.

1) The itinerary was comprehensive and varied - the pace a little relentless at times as we crammed in as much as possible but worth it totally. We visted all the major "bucket list" sights of Northern Indian from New & Old Delhi (such a contrast), to Taj Mahal and Agra (Taj is every bit as magnificent as imagined), Varanasi (the 5 am start to see the sunrise and Ghats on Ganges was well worth it to see such an incredible site), the Khajuraho (with the Kama Sutra carvings) temples, the night, time jeep ride and magnificent sights of Jaipur, the very macho military city of Jodphur complete with jet fighter fly-overs and the magnificent hotel, the lakes and water palaces of Udaipur and the Tigers at Ranthambore and the superb Shergarh Hotel. Wall to wall palaces, forts, temples, rickshaw rides, Tuk Tuk, jeep rides, coaches, flights and train - you name it we did it.
2) The National guide Vishal was an ever smiling guy who sorted out any minor issues along the way and was a fountain of knowledge on his country as well as being very proud of it and eager to share with visitors. The local guides and coach drivers/assistants were also excellent but special mention has to be given to the superb driving of the cool, calm Mr Singh who Id trust to drive me anywhere and the ever smiling assistant Krishna.
3) The Hotels were all of very good quality - two of which where utterly superb in Jodphur and Ranthambore. The Udaipur Hotel had issues - which the hotel did sort out rapidly but they shouldn't have needed to have the issues pointed out... the other hotels didnt.
4) Food was plentiful and good quality. Generally I would have liked it spicier as I like my food hot and flavourful but appreciate that the hotels and restaurants needed to cater for the wide range of palates of the group. Shergarh was very accommodating in making mine spicier when I asked.
5) Excellent value for money - a lot of bang for the buck.
6) An absolutely superb group of people to travel with - 28 of us from various parts of the UK, Ireland, some Aussies and Kiwis. Everyone seemed to get on really well and the WhatsApp group set up by our guide Vishal was great for sharing photos, schedules etc. The group I travelled with made an already amazing holiday into an incredible experience I will never forget.
Absolutely no hesitation in recommending Wendy Wu Tours - Ive already booked my third tour for 2025!

This was my first tour with Wendy Wu and my first ever visit to India and it want be my last,from the first day i arrived in New Delhi our guide Jasvir had everything in hand, nothing was any trouble for him to sort out or organise throughout the whole tour.Which was absolutely amazing from start to finish the hotels we stayed in all the meals and the whole tour throughout the Highlights of India was superb Jasvir and all the drivers and guides certainly made it a holiday to remember it truly was wonderful and I can't thank Wendy Wu Tours and everybody involved enough for making it the most memorable time, i will recommend this tour and Wendy Wu to my Family and Friends and I will be booking again for India and other destinations. We were looked after from first landing to departure. The tour was well organised with excellent food and accommodation. The guides were knowledgeable, professional and dealt with any issues quickly.

Great time, great people, great locations plus a great national guide.

Guide very knowledgeable in India but guide fell short of historical info in Nepal. Food in Nepal soggy veg and luke warm and repetitive but hotel overlooking Himalayas a real treat. Rooms at Radisson in Kathmandu overlooked rubble and were noisy on lower floors but food offered variety and was hot. Might be wise to suggest travellers take breathing masks since almost all on tour had deep coughs and there were warnings of hazardous air in Jaipur, Rathambore, Delhi and Kathmandu.

When I rang to make some changes the lady I dealt with could not have been more helpful or pleasant. She made the whole exercise easy and enjoyable

Well arranged golden triangle tour. As always somethings were amazing others not so much. Highlights of course the Taj Mahal, the city palace in Udaipur and the amazing art in Bundi ( even if the accommodation in Bundi was the least liked of our hotels) Good hotels recommend The hilltop palace in Udaipur.- use the rooftop bar, Le Meridien in Delhi both fabulous , on the whole excellent food- one or two of the dining experience were poor. The driver provided was outstanding and all the local guides were good a couple of them amazing. One or two of them a bit pushy on getting you to visit buying opportunities! The recommended itinerary was well thought out and Wendy Wu were accommodating of the small changes we made, organised train journey and extra nights. the driver was happy to give you as much time as you could at each place, we never felt hurried. Some of the distances between places were long. Interestingly Wendy Wu seemed to out source the tour organising to Go India Journeys. Their reps met us at airport and gave general advice and guidance through out the holiday, popping up in all the hotels to make sure all was well- nice touch. Would recommend and use Wendy Wu again. They made the planning and getting visas easy as well as giving some good guidance initially when booking.

Excellent ground arrangements from being met at Delhi airport. Didn't realise Mr Singh was our driver throughout. He offered to take us out in the evenings and wait. Local guides were good and took us to local eateries. Changed itinerary to maximise enjoyment of tour. I.e. sunrise at Taj Mahal.

Everything was nearly spot on. Our driver and guides were brilliant and the hotels as a whole were good, however the third bed at the Park Hotel in Delhi on our first visit was terribly uncomfortable with barely any mattress, however this was rectified by the time we returned at the end of our trip and the manager was extremely good at making amends. All three hotels did not have the room ready on arrival with three beds and towels which was my only niggle. Loved the itinerary and the timings were perfect, all sights were of real interest and the guides knowledge was excellent and really engaging.

Fantastic, couldn't fault it! Best guide ever, helpful, informative and always courteous whatever was thrown at him, ever mindful of our safety. Great hotels in good locations and the country itself and the visits to historical places was just mind blowing, especially the Taj Mahal. Amazingly patient driver and his assistant who got us through the mad Delhi traffic etc. unscathed.

Excellent value for money, best quality hotels, coach and interesting tours. The Bollywood night was superb as was the short unscheduled trip to the market to barter for local presents. Just enough free time so it didn't seem like hard work. We used all of the hotel pools which were excellent.

My pre booking advert suggested that I could enjoy business class on the return journey for £99. When I phoned to book I was advised that it was not available from Manchester but via London it could be supplied for £199 each. I booked including a connecting flight from Manchester to Heathrow. My initial paperwork showed business class from Hanoi to Hong Kong and onwards to Heathrow. I would then have BA club world Heathrow to Manchester.
When my final e tickets arrived the last leg LHR to MCR was economy class. When I queried this I was told there was not a business class on that flight but that we could use the lounge! In the event it was a mad rush to catch the connecting flight which my partner and I did but her luggage didn't

Possibly more suited to someone with more stamina than me as it can be quite hectic. Lunch with 8 dishes became hard going and probably lighter snacks would have suited many people. The last few days of the tour turned into a personal struggle as I contracted what is euphemistically known as Delhi belly.

Excellent service through out the whole experience. we had a fabulous time,
the ******/ guide was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. through out the tour he checked that we were happy with everything he was eager to please.

We totally loved the tour. wonderful places, acceptable hotels. if I had to fault the tour I would say start in Delhi traveling next to Udaipur continuing on route and ending at Varanasi. We finished at Udaipur this was the least impressive city - I think finishing at Varanasi would of been a total high.

Arrangements were very good but addition of safari at end of golden triangle tour led to excessive travelling . Drove from Jaipur to Delhi and then train to Ranthambore. Far easier to travel from Jaipur to Safari.

When we arrived back in Delhi there was no information to our flight home the following day. We had to contact them.
Liz was extremely efficent. Our only problem was the connecting flight to Goa from Mumbai, we should have taken the connecting flight as only half hour connection would have worked. We ended up with 5 hour delay .
