Good information about flights, hotels, visa etc. very knowledgeable and friendly advice.

This was an amazing experience from start to finish.
Booking was easy, with super friendly and professional staff who were more than willing to help us with extra flights for a 2 week trip before we joined the cruise.
The Victoria Meekong boat was impressive………new, modern and impeccably spotless with every need catered for. The cabins were extremely spacious with a small private balcony to relax and enjoy the scenery en route.
The crew were so friendly, always happy and smiling, going above and beyond to ensure our every need was catered for.
The food was delicious with breakfast, lunch and dinner included everyday in the package. It was a mix of Western and Asian cuisine and there was definitely no chance of ever going hungry! Hot drinks, soft beverages and beer were available at no extra cost throughout the day and also wine during lunch and dinner.
There were excursions most days ( morning and afternoon) which were entirely optional. As, it was 40 degrees throughout our cruise, we chose to just do one per day as it was completely exhausting in the heat. Instead we took advantage to recharge and relax on the sun loungers, dipping in and out of the pool to cool off.
If I had to be super critical of one aspect of the cruise ( and it did not in the least affect our enjoyment of the holiday!), was that some of the excursions did not meet our expectations. Too many similar experiences and duplications ( temple visits and silk making for example). Also, the floating market was a disappointment and did not look like the picture advertised on the website.
Finally, the Tour Guides we had for both Vietnam and Cambodia were brilliant. Great characters, full of life, funny and extremely knowledgable.
A great trip and wonderful memories made!

Our trip was fantastic. The cabin was very clean and spacious, the food of a high quality and the service was exceptional. The guides who took us out worked very hard to ensure we had a great experience and I would thoroughly recommend the river cruise to anyone who wants to see the real Vietnam and Cambodia, but not have to worry about arranging it independently.

The ship the crew were wonderful we got to see the real side of Cambodia & Vietnam from village life to cocktails at raffles

During touring Vietnam & Cambodia we did a cruise on the Mekong explorer this was in the middle of the tour and was a great relaxing experience in the middle of a hectic tour which we would recommend and always remember

I've travelled in two Wendy Wu small group tours. Vietnam in 2016 and most recently India in April 2024. The itineraries were comprehensive, the hotels and meals of a very good standard and the guides - National and local - superb. I travelled in a group of 28 people to India - a great mix of Brits, Irish, Aussies and Kiwis which really made the trip extra special. Everything is arranged - the only extras you need are money for any drinks, for shopping and some of the optional extras offered like shows or additional excursions. You don't have to do the add-ons as the standard tour is already very comprehensive including excursions but eg in the India tour - the night tour of Jaipur by Jeep and the show at Agra about the the origins of the Taj Mahal were both great and worth the small extra. Any small issues were quickly resolved by the excellent National guide - for India our National Guide was the ever smiling Vishal. A fair number of long bus rides in India but I loved that as it gave me plenty of opportunity to observe the real India as we drove through. I dont think I'll ever quite get over the sight of cows casually strolling everywhere even down the middle of busy roads or how Indian girls manage to sit side saddle on a moped in a sari and not fall off! Coaches were all of an excellent standard as were the drivers - especially the cool, calm Mr Singh who navigated us safely through the Indian road system and some tight parking spots to get us right to the hotel door. Booking was easy, getting visa simple and the itinerary produced by Wendy Wu was very comprehensive. All I had to do was enjoy the trip and the spectacle of India, take literally 100's of photos and not have to worry about getting from A-Z . Thoroughly recommend Wendy Wu as I've two absolutely fantastic and memorable group tours to Vietnam and India now - and Ive just booked a Japan group tour for March 2025. Cannot wait to Wu again!

I enjoyed the holiday and met some lovely people.
Some of the places we went to were amazing. Especially Sapa.
The food was good but I feel it could of been better and more authentic. There was also far to much food, especially at lunch time. It seem we had the same for lunch as we had for our evening meal. It be came very boring. Lunch needed to be lighter. The hotels were all comfortable and clean.
I think the other thing that would of been nice was a bit more free time. Even though we enjoyed all of the sites, it would of been nice to be able to roam around on our own without having to rush. Maybe add an extra day on the tour.
John our tour guide was amazing, and was so passionate and knowledgeable about Vietnam. Nothing was too much trouble for him he was brilliant.
I was quite disappointed by our visit to Halong Bay. The number of tourist boats and the amount of waste in the water was quite upsetting. Maybe this is something the tour companies could look into, and maybe help by putting money into educating people. The boat we were on was also a little bit disappointing, although the crew and the food was amazing.

We were very pleased with all aspects of this trip. The booking process was straightforward and all queries were dealt with professionally.

The tour was well organised and everything went according to plan. Our local guide Dinh was exceptional and due to his willingness to answer all questions and volunteer all sorts of information - historical, sociological, geographical - we felt that we really got to know something of the culture and the people of Vietnam. The activities were great fun and the visit to the vegetable garden and cooking class in Hoi An especially stand out.
The cruise in Halong Bay - despite the chilly/wet weather - was the highlight it promised to be.

All accommodation was good and the transfers smooth and well organised. It was a bonus not having to carry our own luggage! The food was also very good with only a couple of the western meals being a bit disappointing.

This was our first experience of an organised group tour and we were more than pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed it. The group of people were friendly and enthusiastic and it was good get to know each other over dinner and to compare notes on the day.

It was a wonderful way to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. I had organised it as a surprise for him and he loved it.

Japan is now on my wish list!

Extensive tour of Vietnam, mid range hotels, comfortable clean. Well paced although a couple of days were quite extensive. Wonderful cruise in Halong Bay at end. Food offering was disappointing, repetitive. Guide was excellent and greatly enhanced the Vietnam experience with anecdotal stories of the impact of the war on himself and family member

Excellent itinerary but particularly the variety of experiences is what attracted us to the tour and it definitely didn’t disappoint! The group was a fantastic bunch of people which really made the holiday extra enjoyable and fun. Our tour guide in Vietnam was very knowledgeable, he was very passionate about his job and couldn’t do more for the group to make sure we all had a great time and that everything ran very smoothly. This was our third Wendy Wu tour, they have all been excellent but we think that this was the best one yet.

Very well organised, very knowledgeable guide. Although rest stops and coffee breaks were needed, didn't like being asked to 'buy things places for the 'pressure type' selling. Liked the food overall, very mixed, some really good and some poor with poor or too speedy service.

Excellent trip, well co-ordinated, lead by a very good guide. Hotels and food very good. Halong Bay cruise very good but a little disappointed with quality of rooms on boat.
