Just returned from a brilliant tour. The itinerary was well designed, mixing historical, cultural, countryside and urban. A well balanced, if short, insight into China. Being a tour, some days were hard work but I can’t think of anything I would have wanted to leave out. The experience was full of surprises. One thing in particular was the friendliness of the local Chinese. I am not sure what I expected but when we were out and about, be it in a child’s playground, shopping mall, or historical site, they would happily interact with us. Within the language constraints we had some lovely conversations.
The national guide, David, was excellent. His organisation of the itinerary and his relationship with the tour members was exceptional.
Additional to the tour there were several optional events. Each of which was very enjoyable and enhanced the experience. For me the best one was Impression Sanjie Liu In Yangshuo
One observation that might be worth making concerns budgeting. Wedy Wu literature suggest between £300 and £400 pounds per person for spending. Generally correct but the cost of optional excursions does increase the spend. I would suggest £600 has being more appropriate.
To summarise, the tour was a fantastic experience. I would like to thank all those from Wendy Wu to contributed to its success.

A wonderful introduction to China with a great group of well travelled people. Our guide was helpful, informative and interesting and the tour was a good mixture of busy sightseeing days and more relaxed days on the Yangtze river where we could enjoy the beautiful scenery as well as the talks and entertainment on board. Everything was meticulously organised and we were given enough free time to explore on our own. I would thoroughly recommend this tour and can think of no negatives at all.

Efficient & Personable

Excellent organisation at " home base " including visa acquisition prior to tour.
Facilities of hotels , selected restaurants and excursions all very high standard .
BUT - because of the high degree of activities involved in the tour , it was ESSENTIAL that we had an EXCELLENT Tour Guide ( Lisa ) who ensured a smooth and seamless total tour . ( will send separate commendation regarding tour guide to Customer report site ).
Without her continued efficiency , the tour content just wouldn't work to the timescales . Full on trip !!!!

This was without no doubt my one of the best and
truly felt like a Wish and Dream come true fulfilled
with absolutely excellent experiences and bringing back lifetime lingering memories

It was very well organised with detailed daily itineraries and seamless tour culminating in my safe return home. The Travel Consultants are very friendly, knowledgeable and very professional in portraying its Owner Wendy Wu's passion, enthusiasm and offering a unique travel experiences not only as China but worldwide Tours

The Hotels were of high quality standards and unique in its own ways!

Our National guide Raymond Lu was very professional with excellent historical and Geographical knowledge, fantastic customer services, always eager to help and support with positive attitude and always had a good focus for care safety and with great attention to details no matter how minute it may appeared throughout the journey - be it Hotel check in, comfort breaks dietary requirements, Bullet train and cruises checking and
to endless lists of the questions etc fellow travellers!
We were also fortunate to have local guides Oscar,LJ and Peter showing their respective regions with Passion expertise and made us feel welcoming

I would highly recommend without any hesitations to Feel, See, smell, Taste, Hear and experience with Difference these incredible Natural wonders of China - my favourite Zhangjiajie and the national parks with breathtaking and stunning views of the sandstone pillars,gorges and the canyons- unique experiences walking on the Glass bridge and the walkways.
The magnificent Yangtze River Cruise with the Professional and friendliest Crew ever, Three gorges Dam with its historical and magnificent Engineering feat and the Upstream & Downstream Ship upliftment and many more excursions were well organised My another favourite was the
Part of Tibet - Nine Villages Valley with mesmerising crystal clear lakes,Rivers Waterfalls and natural , serene and tranquil views

The culinary dietary requirements as a vegetarian were well looked after plus all the local folklore and evening entertainments were amazing!

In my views China is openly welcoming back Tourism and I will certainly look forward to explore other known parts of China and book the tour with One & Only Wendy Wu Tours my all time Favourite.

Acknowledging the virtual Tour clip with Wendy and her Top Team first visit after China reopened made my heart set to visit these lovely place - want to revisit the dream !!!

Excellent trip. Britney, the tour guide was superb. Hotels were very good with Western and Chinese breakfast buffet. Very tasty Chinese lunch and evening meals.
Well organised visits to lots of iconic places such as Tianimum square, Great Wall, Terracotta warriors, Giant pandas.
Stunning scenery along the Yangtze river and especially in Guilin and along the river.
2nd tour I have done with Wendy Wu and would strongly recommend them.

A really well organised tour. AMAZING guides. Some very long days which leave you tired but this means you get to see some incredible sights.

Tour group was too large and some people had poor mobility. A smaller group with no health issues and good mobility would have been better

Excellent trip. The sights we saw were unbelievable but it was a very tiring holiday with very little downtime. Need to be fairly fit as it involved a lot of walking.

Excellent tour, visiting many of the main attractions of China led by a knowledgeable and experienced guide.

Very polite assistant. Called me back immediately after we were disconnected. We had lots of questions for booking all of which were answered clearly and quickly

Would highly recommend Wendy Wu Wonders of China tour. The tour was varied and fully packed . It gave a good introduction to china. Everything ran smoothly thanks to our local guide George , who was so knowledgeable and well organized Hotels were better than expected, food was good , plentiful with lots of choice but did become a bit repetitive after 16 days

Spoke to Arti and Andy who could not have been more helpful when arranging our China tour, especially as we needed to deviate from the standard arrangements at the end of the tour so we could spend time visiting our son who lives in China.

Overall very good but some frustrations over places not visited on previous similar tour. Recommend comparison of alternative tours to ensure places visited best match expectations before final choice.
